Mosaics Japanese Cooking Event: Sushi Night with Chéf Norio

• Teachers: Japanese Chéf Tom Norio Sakaishi & Chéf Erika
• When: Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 4 pm
• Where: 2nd Floor, Phoenix Hall, Davis Community Church
• Who: First 15 people who RSVP’ed
• Cost: $5 donation to cover fresh Sashimi and other ingredients

Students will learn how to make nigiri sushi, sushi rolls and plate setting.

We will have a dinner from 6 pm after the Sushi class.

5th Anniversary of Fellowship of Mosaics

Fellowship of Mosaics, NWC is now 5 years old and Davis Mosaics, NWC just celebrated its 3rd anniversary. Since the inception, we’ve been reaching out more than two thousand people (but just 0.1% of the Sacramento Metropolitan Area Population of 2,149,127). For the past 5 years, more than 1200 people visited us at least once. We still have lots of works to do to reach out more mosaics.

Currently, we have 300 actively participating mosaics who come at least once (or twice) a month (or two), and 70~80 people who are passionately participating in a weekly basis. Now, Mosaics have monthly Holy Communion, weekly Bible Study, weekly leadership training classes, and ongoing 1 to 1 disciple-making counseling and prayer gatherings. We have more than 20 active teachers and leaders who sacrifice their lives to impact others.

Mosaics Chinese Cooking Class: Dumpling Making

• When: Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
• Where: Fellowship of Mosaics at Faith Presbyterian Church
• Who: Anyone who loves cooking and dumplings

Chinese Chéf, Ting Dong, and two Chinese teachers, Laura Fan and Michael Lu, will teach how to prepare ingredients and wrap the dumplings in various techniques.

It’s free to public and you may bring your friends and families to enjoy various dumplings and dim sums including vegan versions.
