  1. Generation Z – The Mosaics: Coffeehouse Gatherings

Hey Mosaic, WBU, What aBout You? You are the wave and hope of the future as you explore new ways of communicating and expressing yourselves.

What is a Mosaic? Some might say you are a fragmented generation. That you join groups, niches, cliques, without any mass appeal. That you, more than any previous young generation, think for yourselves.

You are highly educated, and have a positive outlook on life. Compared to the Baby Boomers (War Babies) and Gen-Xers and –Yers, you are contented and adaptive. Some might say you are the next step in human evolution!

You have been blessed to grow up in (mostly) stable times; war didn’t directly affect most of you. Sure there have been economic hard times. But your generation is characterized by a strong willingness to work toward your career goals despite any obstacles that might get in the way.

At the same time, an even higher priority is your relationships with family and friends. Where previous teenage generations developed well-publicized reputations for resisting too many interactions with parents, you’re changing all that through your respect and love.

Then, too, with the advent of new communications technology you have been exploring new ways of socializing, making connections and building your social capital.

How is that working out for you?

Sometimes there is no substitute for meeting new people and talking about, in a comfortable situation, things that uplift you or bother you—a place to share problems and learn solutions.

That’s what the Fellowship of Mosaics is all about . . .

  2. I love the sound of raining.

Today, the sky is fully opened for the pouring of rains.
The ground is fully wet and water flows like waves of ocean.

God cares us whether we know or not.

I pray that God will open up the floodgate of Heaven for us to receive the holy rains, power of the Holy Spirit.

May God revive our souls and spirits as we accept His grace and mercy.

  3. “The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” – Luke 6:45 ESV

God is seeking one’s heart rather than one’s appearance. As Christians, we need to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ all the time.

  4. “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven . . . “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. – Matt. 5:2 & 5:8 ESV

Although we live in this world–the earthly temporal place, our real home–eternal living place is in heaven where our Father dwells. So, let us focus our eyes on God who gives life. Let us continually purify our hearts and spirits as we seek His wisdom and guidance. As God’s children, we have duties to spread the Gospel and to do God’s works everyday as evangelists of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
